- Finishing my student teaching (May 15th)
- Starting to write my thesis
- Get more data for my thesis
- Working on some assessment reports
- Getting ready to head to California for two weeks
- Finish moving stuff back into my office
- Celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
It's a bittersweet time because I am enjoying my teaching time so much, and I'm sad to have to leave in three weeks. I didn't cover as much material as I wanted, but the concepts we did cover, I felt went really well. I am looking forward to visiting everyone out in California and enjoying some warmer weather. I'll be visiting the family early on in the visit, and then I'll be heading to Santa Rosa for Memorial Day weekend. Then my mom and I are heading up to Washington to visit my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. I will be coming back home in time to start teaching summer school at the University - and then write my thesis!
On a lighter note, I found some ladies to scrapbook with on Craigslist. We are meeting together for the first time in a couple of weeks, and I'm so excited to find fellow scrappers in the area. I need the motivation to get my projects done... or at least worked on. I've been slacking ever since I started my graduate program.
Have I mentioned fiddleheads before?? I'll have to check my past posts. To be continued...
