December visit

In a few weeks, I'll be heading out to California for business and pleasure. I was asked to present my master's thesis research at the AGU annual conference, in the form of a poster. My poster time is scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, December 15. I'll be flying out of Bangor that morning and making it just in time for my poster session. The rest of the week I'll be looking at other research, and hopefully learning a lot of cool Earth Science content to use in my classroom. Reed is joining me on my vacation on Thursday, so if you happen to live in the SF area and want to meet up on the 17th or 18th, then let me know!

We will be heading to Oakdale on Saturday, and then driving up to Red Bluff to celebrate an early Christmas with my brother and his family for a few days. Reed and I will be flying back to Maine on Christmas eve so that we can be with his boys on Christmas day. It's a quick trip, and I know I won't see everyone, but I hope to catch up with you all soon!!
